I’m Lieve Meeusen, a Belgian conceptual self-portrait photographer.
I create staged images that explore identity, silence, vulnerability and the strange weight of ordinary things.
Every photograph begins with an idea. Costumes, handmade props and carefully constructed settings allow me to turn that idea into a visual story.
Words are an essential part of my work. Each image is accompanied by a short text that adds another layer without explaining everything.
Through self-portraiture, I am both the person behind the camera and the figure inside the story.
