About me
I am Lieve Meeusen, born and raised in Arendonk, a rural village in the famous Belgian Kempen. A millennial, yet forever 21, with a fiery passion for photography.
My personality has a strong creative side, which wants to express itself on a regular basis. Although the ear doctors sector supported me in this, music turned out not to be my thing. I liked writing, but the ever know-it-all spell check disturbed me immensely.
So the creative search continued and I came up with the following thought: “Remember that uncomfortable feeling you had as a child when you had to pose with a sore jaw from the artificial toothpaste commercial smile?”. Then as a photographer you are on the right side of my dearest camera and you are seldom asked to be in front of it.
Falling, slipping in the mud, being drenched in the rain, forgetting your gloves in freezing weather… Or vice versa, being on the verge of dehydration in the heat because you brought all your photographic material, plus extra, but no water bottle. Amazing, right? Everything for the perfect photo.
My material as an extension of my body, my Nikon Z6 ii. My favorite workhorse that is always present in my camera bag and also my most used lens is the 24-70 2.8f from Nikon.
Every day is a new opportunity to take the perfect shot, the next day is another opportunity to make it better!
